Appointments

Referral Criteria

Our services are open to adults between the ages of 18-65 years, who live in West Norfolk.

Please contact us via telephone or email to discuss referral and a suitable day and time when you will be able to attend an initial assessment meeting.

Assessment

You will be invited to an initial assessment session with the Project Coordinator or Project Worker, lasting approximately 50 minutes.

This is an opportunity to talk about some of the issues you may be facing and to think with the assessor about the service that will most benefit your particular needs.

Whilst there is no fixed cost to our services, your ability to make a contribution towards the cost of the service you receive will also be discussed at this assessment meeting.

However we do not turn any body away of they are unable to make a financial contribution. Should you decide you would like to take up a service, you will be placed on the waiting list.

Waiting Times

Whilst the One to One Project Staff aim to offer an initial assessment meeting within two weeks of your first contact, waiting times to be allocated to a suitable volunteer often vary.

We do our best to see people as quickly as possible but you may expect to wait between 1-4 months for a service, depending on when a volunteer is available to see you at the times and day that is convenient to you.

As soon as a place becomes available, you will be offered a regular weekly hour appointment, either with a counsellor or mentor, or will be informed of the date on which the next group commences.
