Our Services

Counselling offers a confidential space in which you can explore the difficulties you may be facing with a professional counsellor for up to 12 months.

Appointments are for one hour each week, on the same day and at the same time and are either provided at our premises in King’s Lynn or at one of our Community Outreach Venues (Terrington St. Clement, Downham Market or Swaffham).

Our Volunteer Counsellors offer a range of approaches depending on their training, including Psychodynamic, Person Centred, Gestalt, Transactional Analysis and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

They are regularly supervised by independent practitioners to ensure they are working ethically.

(If you would like to find out more about the different approaches, and how these might suit your needs, please follow the link to the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy website here)

Mentoring offers emotional support to assist you in working towards achieving realistic goals that you set together with your mentor. Mentoring usually takes place within the home or in a community setting and can help to reduce social isolation.

Mentoring appointments are for 1 hour each week for up to 6 months, providing a confidential listening, emotional and social support.

Mentoring can be a very empowering experience, giving you confidence to face the difficulties you may be experiencing and to cope with life choices.

Self Confidence Group Work provides an opportunity for up to 16 participants to collectively work towards gaining the tools and techniques to maintain personal wellbeing in their day to day life.

A supportive group environment, run be two trained facilitators, is provided either at our premises in King’s Lynn or at our Community Outreach Venue in Terrington St. Clement.

These groups run for two hours per week for 7 weeks.

“Stepping Stones”, an exciting Self Esteem Youth Group for 16-18 year olds is also being developed and should be available in the New Year.
