London Marathon Runner supports One to One Project

May 11, 2017

Staff and Volunteers were delighted to learn that the One to One Project was one of two charities to be the focus of the incredible effort of Gavin Lane, who ran the London Marathon on 23rd April 2017, in just 4 hours 15 minutes.

Gavin received a huge amount of support and throughout months of grueling training saw donations rise, achieving a staggering final total of £5,410, which will be shared between his two chosen charities; One to One Project and Dementia Adventure. We would like to say an enormous thank you to Gavin and to his generous supporters who helped him to beat his fundraising target!

Tackling the stigma surrounding mental health issues has been the focus of the Heads Together campaign, named chosen charity for this year’s London Marathon and which has been heavily supported by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry.
