Using our Services
Here at the One to One Project we offer long term emotional support to people experiencing mental health difficulties right across West Norfolk, through individual Counselling, Mentoring and Group Work.
Counselling offers a confidential space in which you can explore the difficulties you may be facing with a professional counsellor for up to 12 months.
Appointments are for one hour each week, on the same day and at the same time and are either provided at our premises in King’s Lynn or at one of our Community Outreach Venues (Terrington St. Clement, Downham Market or Swaffham).
Mentoring offers emotional support to assist you in achieving realistic goals that are set together with your mentor. Mentoring usually takes place within your home or in a community setting and can help to reduce social isolation. Mentoring appointments are for 1 hour each week for up to 6 months, providing a confidential listening support.
Group Work provides an opportunity for up to 12 participants to collectively work towards gaining the tools and techniques to maintain personal wellbeing in their day to day life.
A supportive group environment, run by two therapeutically trained facilitators, is provided either at our premises in King’s Lynn or at one of our Community Outreach Venues.
Each group runs as a series of weekly two hour sessions.
You will be invited to an initial assessment session with the Project Coordinator or Project Worker, lasting approximately 50 minutes.
This is an opportunity to talk about some of the issues you may be facing and to think with the assessor about the service that will most benefit your particular needs.
Our services are open to adults aged 18 years and over, who live in West Norfolk.
